Positive Start Child Development Center: Our ministry will address the major issues of our community, one being the need to
provide a superior child development program for underprivileged children
between 6 months and 4 years of age. We must also educate our community to narrow the infant mortality gap between poor communities and middle class and affluent communities of Michigan. The death
rate of babies in poor communities are three times higher than that of their
counterparts.
1."The Great Life" Adult Activity Center: 2.Realizing that the population trend for the state of Michigan indicate a sizable increase in it's above 55 citizenry over the next 5 years, and in recognition of the fact that those entering into this group are a part of the baby boomer generation; The Great Life Adult
Activity Center will develop a program that caters to their need to be
active, and stimulated. The increase of Dementia and Alzheimer's
disease in the elderly population has created an additional strain on
the families that care for them. A part of "Great Life's" mission is to
provide respite for these families and to sponsor workshops/seminars to
support these family caregivers.
"Operation Rebound" and "Operation Second Shot" are Financial Service Ministries: At "Operation REBOUND" we work hard to get you another SHOT at having A-1 credit. Our communities are financially destitute, Flint suffers the highest unemployment rate in Michigan. Other factors that cause our community to lag behind are low educational levels, illiteracy, and crime. There are also a
large number of homes headed for foreclosure in Flint.
Triumphant Temple of Praise want to help people connect and bond
together to overcome the financial issues that are plaguing our
communities. Triumphant Temple in partnership with other local services will address the financial concerns of our community. Upcoming seminars will teach residents how to win the financial game.
